I think the audience of my capstone will be elementary school teachers, grades three through five. I am hoping this will be information I can share with my colleagues across the district. Today's elementary classrooms have to have a focus on technology in order to send students off to middle school ready for multiple teachers with different technology techniques.
My goal is to create a website that teachers will want to use, that is easy to navigate with multiple ideas ready for classrooms. I want my Learn More page to contain the data behind my research and the tech tools I found the most useful to use while navigating Google Classroom. I do need to pick a few standards that I think students need the most reteaching in after I look at end of the year CAASPP data for my students. I think it will be important to leave teachers with step by step instructions that will allow them to use these tools immediately!

I agree with your idea of having a website that gives teachers step by step instructions so that anyone can easily implement what you have done. Like you said, the key is to make it easy to navigate while also giving essential data.

I am in complete agreement with you that it is extremely important that our websites are useful for our audience and therefore provide clear and concise steps in order to implement what we are presenting. There have been so many times that I have been intrigued by a new teaching strategy, activity, or tool that I then look to implement it, but the actual steps necessary to implement are either obsolete or difficult to interpret. At this point, it becomes so much more work that it deters you from previous thoughts about its' potential benefits. I also would like my "Learn More" section to obtain implementation steps, as well as, examples of implementation so that my audience can stay focused on the benefits ABC ME can provide them.

Heather, I totally agree with you. I wish we had known about these websites sooner, I could have used all those resources long time ago. Now it is up to us to spread the word and help other teachers. I think technology will help us be more universal. When students go into middle school, it's going to be like a continuation. "Oh, you have posted the assignment on Google Classroom...No problem" .
